  Worried Parents in China Wait for Answers on Tainted Formula  One father, Zhang Gaofeng, 35, had waited more than a day at the hospital with his wife, Wang Hui, and their 22-month-old daughter, Yue. The couple had fed Yue the Sanlu brand of baby formula now at the center of a nationwide food safety scandal that has left three infants dead and sickened more than 6,000 babies. Mr. Zhang, a migrant worker, blamed corporate greed. "They are trying to make a profit off the people who are not rich enough to afford the imported brands," he said as he waited in the hospital parking lot with other families. "Poor people can only afford the low-end products like this one." He said the Sanlu product had cost about $3.20 for two days' worth of formula, compared with about $5 for the top brands. The anxiety at Children's Hospital is just one snapshot of a scandal that has broadened every day since it became public last week. On Wednesday, Health Minister Chen Zhu reported that more than 1,300 infants had been hospitalized and that 158 had suffered acute kidney failure after being fed formula contaminated with the industrial additive melamine.

Kangaroo Farts Could Be Used to Fight Global Warming Australian scientists are trying to give kangaroo-style stomachs to cattle and sheep.  They want to cut the emission of greenhouse gases blamed for global warming. Thanks to special bacteria in their stomachs, kangaroo flatulence contains no methane.  Scientists want to transfer that bacteria to cattle and sheep who emit large quantities of the harmful gas. The usual image of greenhouse gas pollution is a smokestack pushing out carbon dioxide.  But livestock passing wind contribute a surprisingly high percentage of total emissions in some countries. "Fourteen percent of emissions from all sources in Australia is from [intestinal] methane from cattle and sheep, "said Athol Klieve, a research scientist with the Queensland state government.

因為.........
已經在學校臨時擠出一封英文信
我放棄在這"美好"的開學日
再來一篇
很開心的踏上去學校的路
一路上都覺得好新奇
因為已經三個月囉
心中盤算著待會要先來個滷味
好好的回味學校的滋味
豈知~~
四個小時後
小妮子我回家的心情~~
超悶
~第一門~
英文文法教法
老師一進門就劈哩啪啦一堆英文
腦筋真是一片空白耶
所有的英文單字都被隔在耳朵之外
回過神時
手上已經多了一張問卷
卻也只能對著問卷發呆
因為上面寫著
1.選修這門課後，你希望這能為你未來帶來何發展(類似....因為我已經忘了)
2.你心中理想的教師圖像為何?
3.用英文自述你的英文能力
4.你對這門課的建議
傻眼是我口中所冒出的話
所有的問題，我只寫了第二個
可愛又可敬的老師
接著竟然要我們分組討論
OH! NO!!
這是我的第一天耶!
就這樣這麼正式@@
我也只能摸摸鼻子轉過身和組員討論
只聽到有同學哭笑不得的說：要用英文討論嗎?
我只說：不要吧....我腦袋還沒回神耶@@
在討論的過程中
發現自己
忘了怎麼用英文說話
忘了英文單字怎麼拼
忘了何者才是適合的英文單字
忘了
忘了
忘了啦!!
之後可愛又可敬的老師還逐個問：Why are you sitting here?
問大家選這門課的原因....
她用英文問，結果我很想用中文回答
點到我時，我還是很心驚的跳了一下
講了一堆我也不知是什麼的什麼
因為還是得用英文回答.............
之後看到成績計算要點中，還有一個10%部落格內上課紀錄與分享......
整個就是傻眼又傻眼
老師......一定要這麼認真嗎
在不斷的哀嘆中結束了我的第一門課

 Neil:童童!他們吵到我上課了...
最近每次踏進櫻花班，Neil都會先來跟童童說這一句話
童童探頭進教室看
常常也只見小麻雀們成了一座座小佛像
所以童童也只能跟他說：哇! 你看大家都坐好了，沒有在吵了
今天有點不一樣
Neil看到了童童
啪的一下就緊緊抱住童童的腰，黏住了~~~
抬起小小的五分頭
張著細長的單眼皮小眼睛
閃亮閃亮的看著童童
一聲童音傳來：童童~~~

童童忍不住順著Neil的頭髮摸著摸著
就說了：你跟童童家裡的貓好像ㄛ
她最愛童童摸她的頭了
總愛把頭膩在我的手心裡
